Where did we come from?

We weren't born yesterday. We've actually been saving people money on travel since 1989 – long before the internet was even a gleam in Al Gore's eye. As the travel industry has changed, we have grown from a college dorm room, to a retail travel agency, to a 1-800 call center, to a top-ranked web site. Through it all, the goal has stayed the same: to find advantages for our customers in the different and the unexpected.

What can we do?

It can take a long time to search site after site for the lowest air fares. So why not take the easy way out with our proprietary air fare shopping engine that does all the work for you? Our search spiders search all over the web (get it) to find the lowest fares on the planet. Other sites like to shout about "sale fares", "web fares", "super duper special fares", etc. etc. Our search engine finds them all – in one step – and delivers them to you seamlessly. (Only on our site, they are just called "fares".)

Why are we different?

But what really sets us apart, is our use of "Ajax" – not the cleaning solution – but our cool air-shopping technology which gives our customers the ability to quickly see all possible options for outbound and return flights and then sort them and filter them on the fly, without having to re-load the pages or restart searches.

Do you know what else we care about? Customer service. That doesn't mean a maze of gratuitous, pre-recorded phone messages. We have real, live, friendly, helpful human beings available 7 days a week to assist when you need them. And we promise not to make you talk to a computer.
